Student Pastor Search Committee Update

We have some exciting news to share with you from our Student Pastor Search Committee. Our Search Team has recommended JonSeth Sammons to be our next Student Pastor. Meet the Sammons Family!

Our Student Pastor Search Committee, with the affirmation of our deacons, has recommended JonSeth Sammons to serve as our Student Pastor.

JonSeth grew up in Crestview, Florida. He and his wife, Brittany, met at Crestview High School, attended the Baptist College of Florida together, and have been married since January of 2016. They have two sons, Jayson (4y) and Everett (10mths). JonSeth has served as Student Minister at Macedonia’s First Baptist Church in Blountstown for about two years and as College Director at Grace Church in Bonifay for about two years. He is now a student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where he is pursuing a Master of Divinity in Great Commission Studies.

Weekend Schedule

JonSeth and Brittany will be visiting Parkview in view of a call to serve as our Student Pastor on Sunday, May 31. Here is our schedule for that weekend:

• Friday Evening | Dinner with Student Ministry Life Group leaders
• Saturday | Lunch with our students and their families in the Fellowship Hall from 11:00am-1:00pm
• Sunday | Introduced during our Worship Services at 9:15 and 11:00am
• Special Called Business Meeting on Sunday to affirm JonSeth’s calling to serve at Parkview.

We will have several options for voting and will share more information on Sunday, May 31.
