Summer is here and many of our members will be in and out of town on vacations, getaways, church related activities like mission trips. Many of our families will enjoy visits from family members and friends to the Lake City area, as well. With that in mind, we wanted to keep everyone as informed as possible concerning our summer preaching schedule so that as you invite friends and family to join us, everyone will know what to expect. We don’t anticipate any changes to the normal Sunday morning, Sunday night (with a few exceptions), and Wednesday gatherings as far as time and venue but we will have different speakers filling in from time to time during our regularly scheduled meetings.

The major exceptions come on Sunday nights, July 30 and August 13. On July 30, we want the church family to get together at one of our county recreational facilities to enjoy a church-wide picnic. We are looking at the possibility of the Southside Sports Complex or Alligator Lake. We will promote the details as we get closer to that weekend. On August 13, we want to celebrate baptisms by holding a baptismal service at the Ichetucknee Springs. We are excited about our people going public in public.
