The invitation by Jesus to follow Him is an invitation to adventure. It is an invitation to live without fear and doubt and worry. It is an invitation to shift our allegiances from the things of this world, which Paul by the way calls rubbish, to the things of Christ. We don’t have to settle for mundane. We get to live for Jesus, and we get to invite others to do the same.
