God the Father sending God the Son being conceived in Mary by God the Holy Spirit. God supernaturally invaded our broken world so that we might be drawn back to God’s design which always has been and always will be good and will always be for us, not against us. What I hope we see today is that the Triune God of the universe—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, three in one—is after the hearts of men. The signs are there. Jesus is our Promised King.

For further consideration: Take some time to read Luke 1:26-28. Consider the implications of fulfilled prophecy and what they reveal about God’s nature and character. What are some tough things your life that you need to trust God with today? What steps can you take in your daily routine to demonstrate that you are trusting God in those things? What signs have you missed that in hindsight revealed God at work in your life? What signs is He giving you know that may be showing what He wants to do in your life?
