Jesus never asks His followers to do something He wasn’t first willing to do Himself. His expectation for worship through daily obedience is no different than that which He modeled for us in the gospels. For Jesus, obedience to the Father was personal. It was productive. And it was pricier than we could ever imagine. Let’s take up our cross daily and follow Him.
