If we look back in human history, we will see evidence that man has always felt an inner drive to live forever in a perfect world. The world’s novelists like Upton Sinclair dreamed about Utopia. The world’s explorers like Ponce de Leon searched for immortality in discoveries such as the Fountain of Youth. Human history also shows that this drive has never become a reality, at least on human terms. We have never been able to achieve these things for ourselves. But the drive and the desire are still there.
